Is Self-Determination in Conflict with Tradition?
A collection that tells stories of strength, rebellion, and transformation. Inspired by the tales of Scheherazade, each piece depicts the act of cutting one’s hair as a gesture of defiance, a symbolic act of emancipation against power and conventions.
The original boards, created during the production of the poster for the Scheherazade performance at the Czech National Ballet, embody the craftsmanship and dedication of the creative process. This dialogue between manual tradition and digital innovation enriches the visual experience, building an evocative bridge between the tangible and the intangible—a method OOOPStudio also applies to video scenography: combining digital techniques with a handcrafted approach.
