Frames Of Humanity

2021_2022_2023 – Frames of Humanity is a project rooted in the fusion of gender and individuals, creating a vast global network of flows originating from a single point, blending diverse ethnic and cultural groups until they become indistinguishable. In this context, each individual fragment becomes a crucial piece in forming a collective concept, that of humanity.

Different nuances and varied identities become facets of a singular essence, that of being. Within this conceptualization, people belong to the same unique lineage, the human root that lives and perpetuates itself through relationships with others. New media technology plays a pivotal role in this narrative, allowing humanity to experience a renewed sense of connection with others, as well as with its genesis and origin, physical evolution in space, and cultural evolution over time. The digital era, with its ability to break down boundaries, offers a perspective that narrows distances and flattens inequalities. In this scenario, the wall becomes almost a dynamic display projecting a constantly moving humanity. The eyes, hands, and mouths of individuals with diverse identities blend together in an ever-evolving artwork. This project becomes a profound reflection on how contemporary technologies are redefining our relationship with key concepts such as identity, history, and culture. People, while maintaining their individual differences, transform into interchangeable elements within a broader framework, contributing to shaping a more inclusive and unified vision of humanity.“Frames of Humanity” emerges as a complex work, weaving the fabric of human identities into a narrative that transcends temporal and spatial boundaries.
